Whole 30 – day 13

I got back from work at 7:30 or so and crashed. I slept until about 11, and then we went down to the farmer’s market and got a few eggs before coming back so I could crawl back into bed and sleep until 2:30. After eating lunch, we started cleaning out our closets…. our house is in need of some decluttering! We got one closet done before taking a break to watch a movie and cook/eat dinner. šŸ™‚

Breakfast: I didn’t eat breakfast. Jesse had two eggs with arugula and prosciutto, plus a clementine.

Lunch: Leftover salad from yesterday.

Snacks: I had a couple nuts (it seems to be less and less the past few days), we shared an apple, and Jesse had nuts, hardboiled eggs, and baby carrots.

Dinner: Not quite sure what to call it….Ā  we’ll say lamb tikka masala soup [onions, garlic, ginger, lamb, serrano peppers, potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, zucchini, homemade broth, a can of coconut milk, a can of diced tomatoes blended with a bunch of cilantro, plus coriander, cumin, chile powder, curry powder, turmeric, ground cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom).


How we felt: Tired! But not as tired as I usually feel after working a night. I think it has to do with the fact that my brain doesn’t feel so foggy. Jesse said he feels “good.” šŸ™‚
