I’m anxious to experience the unseen adventures that lie ahead.
For once in my life, I have no idea what is to come. My future is held and sustained by something so much bigger than myself. I’m not worried, just excited.
I’m beginning to understand just how small I am, and just how big the rest of the world is. Rather than cowering in fear at the thought of being a plankter in the huge, huge ocean, I’m thrilled. I know I have a role to play. I don’t know what it is, but I know it matters. I matter. You matter.
Don’t limit yourself. Don’t throw your life away. Don’t give up. Always pursue something bigger than yourself. Treat yourself with dignity and respect, and hold the people around you in the highest regard.
Even if you don’t think you’re capable of greatness, strive do this: leave a person or a place better than when you found them. This seemingly “small” act is extremely difficult, sometimes goes unnoticed and unthanked, but can be most powerful. Pour yourself into people. Listen to their dreams and their stories. People are so worth it. Inspire them, encourage them. Give them hope. You will be changed.
